Just a point of information for your consideration. I don’t do “vague” very well.

If you are going to rely on me to shuttle you to all of your school, civic, sports, and social engagements, please have the courtesy to come to me with the details.

Yes, I will be more than happy to take you to a concert, but I need a little more to go on than, “it’s next Friday in the afternoon.”

“Where” would be a good starting place.  “When” would be helpful. And since you don’t want me to cramp your style, “how long” is also important!
