travel partners? A: A good place to start is your local Parents Without Partners
chapter. Try their Web site at ParentsWithoutPartners.org.
Other single parent organizations that may have a local chapter near you
are Single Parent's Association,
M.O.M.S., and Single
& Custodial Father's Network. Another resource that I have personally
used is TravelChums.com. It
is not single parent specific, but you can type in your profile and preferences.
We recently heard about a regional single parent organization called SPARK
located in North Potomac, MD..
