Tourist Bureaus - Tourism Offices Worldwide Directory is a fantastic resource for those planning a trip. TOWD lists only official government tourism offices, convention and visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce, and similar agencies which provide free, accurate, and unbiased travel information to the public. No travel agents, no tour operators, no hotels.
Frommer's Budget Travel - The free daily e-zine is a must!! Frommer has done an incredible job of targeting the middle market of travel. It is not really budget travel (as defined by backpackers), but inexpensive travel.
