UPDATE: 1/29/2010. All of the Main Lodge Rooms are sold out and we are currently booking into the Oklahoma Building (about 50′ away from the Main Lodge, but involves a walk outside). Right now, space is VERY limited and will be confirmed on a first come first served basis.

 Yes, Amsterdam! There is no better way to see Europe up close than on a hike or a bike and Holland is a perfect place to start.
Our trip will take us round trip from Amsterdam and will include the beautiful, historical cities of Haarlem, Leiden en Delft. You visit the Keukenhof, where you can admire the Dutch tulips in their entire splendor. The windmills in Kinderdijk are a site not to be missed, and you will get the opportunity to admire the famous delft ware. In addition to this, we will visit the parliament buildings in the capital of The Hague. And at the end of our trip back in Amsterdam, you will go for a round trip tour of the canals and have the opportunity to visit the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh museums.
But this is not your regular escorted bus tour. We will be biking or barging our way!  Did you miss out the Harry Potter trip to England and Scotland? This time around, we are bringing Harry Potter to Boston. Experience a long weekend (it is Valentine’s Day and President’s Day so most schools are out) in Boston at the Harry Potter Exhibition, a day trip to Salem, and a Gala Dinner with Harry Potter star Stan Ianevski who portrayed Viktor Krum in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire!
Once again, Single Parent Travel has teamed up with HP Fan Trips to bring you the Harry Potter experience. Your trip will include a storyteller from the UK, entrance into the Harry Porter Exhibition in Boston, a day trip to Salem, and of course our Gala Farewell Dinner on Sunday night where you can dine wit, speak with, and be photographed with Viktor Krum!
This trip is not exclusive to Single Parent Travel and may be opened to the general public if needed. Space is limited and it is on a first come first served basis.

Having “Victor Krum” at the banquet was wonderful. He was very gracious and entertaining and made the time for photos with those from the group who wanted to meet with him. ….A great hit!

 For the tenth year, Single Parent Travel is returning to Beaches resorts in August! This will be out 8th trip to Beaches Boscobel–we took two years off while they renovated. Our Single Parent Travel/Beaches vacation is ALL INCLUSIVE–leave the wallet at home and enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Since we were there last, they have expanded their water activities and built a gigantic water park–rumored to be the largest in Jamaica. Of course there is a restaurant for every appetite and almost one for each day of the week.
We will have some SPT surprises along the way including a private welcoming reception, group activities and more!
Right now, the price for our available rooms is holding at last year’s levels. Depending on the room classification, it will range from $1946 to $2510 for a family of two for the entire week. Airfare and insurance are optional and other room categories are available.
 This year, we have grabbed some of their premium rooms which are in the main building and overlook the gardens or the piazza. We have some family suites in the main building (same view) but with a lot more room and a step down living area. If you are looking for an oceanview, we have a Grand Luxe Oceanview in the main building as well as a concierge level Oceanfront Terrace Suite where you are literally steps away from the beach!

For the tenth year, Single Parent Travel is returning to Beaches resorts in August! This will be out 7th trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos and it will not disappoint. Your vacation is ALL INCLUSIVE–leave the wallet at home and enjoy the sun, sand and surf. With the addition of the exclusive Italian Village (all suite and all concierge) there is something for everyone and a total of 16 restaurants–too many to sample them all, we are only there a week!

Since we are such a popular place, finding a weekend (between Naval Academy events,boat shows, school, and just general tourist season) is tough. But we have one!
October 23-25, 2009 is the date. The price will be in the neighborhood of $700 to $750 for the weekend. We are still arranging some of the dining details. But your mostly inclusive weekend will include:
Navy has their homecoming football game this weekend as well so the town will be crowded. If you are interested in seeing Navy play Wake Forest on Saturday at 3:30pm, we can arrange for tickets (additional charge) and can probably find a tailgate party to crash.
A $200 deposit is required for this trip and is refundable until October 1, 2009. BUT, we need a commitment right away to secure the hotel space–so please check your calendars!

 There is no better way to decompress from the holidays than to take a cruise! Why not celebrate the New Year in style and welcome 2010 with Single Parent Travel?
Our New Year Celebration will be somewhere between St. Maarten and Ft. Lauderdale after visiting St. Maarten, St. Thomas, San Juan and Labadee on one of the newest ships afloat–the Independence of the Seas!

 Our ship sailing into the harbor in King's Wharf Bermuda Come sail away with Single Parent Travel as we embark on our first cruise from the New York area! If you are in the New York area, no flights to catch and eliminate the hassles and cost of flying.
We will be sailing on Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas from Cape Liberty (Bayonne, NJ) to Bermuda!
The Explorer of the Seas is a beautiful ship complete with an ice skating rink and rock climbing wall. Of course, all of your meals are included and your onboard entertainment.

On August 14th, Carnival’s Pride will sound her horn and steam her way down the Chesapeake Bay headed to Grand Turk Island, Half Moon Cay, and Freeport!
Come join other single parents and their children as a last hurrah to summer and let your worries float behind you. Our cruise includes three beautiful days at sea and the majestic beaches of Grand Turk Island. Grand Turk is home of one of the world’s finest reefs–perfect for snorkeling. Or take your chances on the Flow Rider wave machine right next to the famed Margaritaville! If we can coordinate it, we might even meet up with our single parents that will be staying at Beaches with Single Parent Travel.
 Half Moon Cay is Carnival’s private idyllic island and beckons you with pristine beaches, private cabanas, more water sports than you can imagine, horseback riding and more. Freeport is a sportsman and shopper’s paradise. Or maybe stay on board and have the ship to yourself–well maybe!
Baltimore is an easy drive from almost anywhere on the East Coast from North Carolina up to Massachusetts. Parking is reasonable and plentiful and the port is also served by Amtrak and BWI airport.
