 Schooner Woodwind in a breeze
Come and experience the colonial charm of my home town Annapolis! Since we are such a popular place, finding a weekend (between Naval Academy events, boat shows, school, and just general tourist season) is tough. But we have one!
October 23-25, 2009 is the date. The price will be in the neighborhood of $700 to $750 for the weekend. We are still arranging some of the dining details. But your mostly inclusive weekend will include:
Navy has their homecoming football game this weekend as well so the town will be crowded. If you are interested in seeing Navy play Wake Forest on Saturday at 3:30pm, we can arrange for tickets (additional charge) and can probably find a tailgate party to crash.
A $200 deposit is required for this trip and is refundable until October 1, 2009. BUT, we need a commitment right away to secure the hotel space–so please check your calendars!

We are headed to the land of rainbows and some of the most beautiful water I have ever seen! This trip will include airfare from either San Francisco or Los Angeles. We will be staying at the beautiful Sheraton Maui with full privileges at the nearby Westin.
Maui is one of the most unusual islands–from rain forests to dormant volcanoes to arid deserts, it has it all. Visit Lahaina, an old whaling town and sit on the deck at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Snorkel in the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific.
Our trip will also include a sunrise summit to the “House of the Rising Sun”. Haleakala is a dormant volcano with it’s summit 10,000 feet above sea level. We will leave our hotel at 2am (yes you read that right) and will return by 11am. This is truly a one of a kind experience.
For more details including pricing, please download our flyer here, shoot me an email, or give us a call at 888-277-8543.

Experience the thrill of careening down the rapids of the Colorado River with a group of other single parents. This trip is certainly not lacking for any excitement and includes all of your meals, all of your transportation during the trip is provided. We begin and end our trip in Las Vegas which usually has very reasonable airfares.
Your trip includes:
- Flight from Las Vegas to the Bar Ten Ranch
- Helicopter flight to the rim and down to the canyon
- 3 days of rafting on the Colorado River
- Jet Boat ride across Lake Meade
- Motorcoach return to Las Vegas
- All meals, lodging and camping equipment
We have held only 12 spots for this trip and are hoping to get two rafts of single parent families! Note to the “princess moms and dads”–while on the river, there will not be any hotels! It is camping–granted, it is not roughing it by any means. Western River will set up the camp daily for us and we will have private tents, bunks (no sleeping on the ground unless you want to sleep outside), a galley where they will cook the meals, and bathroom and shower facilities (not as bad as a porta potty, but not too bad–sun showers, etc).

PRICING UPDATE:
CALL 888-277-8543 OR EMAIL FOR CURRENT PRICING!
This year we are mixing it up a little bit and heading a bit further south in the Caribbean to the wonderful quiet island of Antigua and the Grand Pineapple Beach Resort. This is a new brand for the Beaches family and promises one of the best beach vacations you have ever had.
The 1600′ beach is pristine white with clear turquoise water. Three restaurants, four bars, two pools, and all the water sports you have come to expect from an all inclusive resort from the Beaches family.
As with our other trips, a $200 fully refundable deposit will hold your space and pricing begins at $2415 for an adult and one child. Airfare and insurance are additional.
The major difference between Beaches and Grand Pineapple is lack of a water park and the extensive kid’s club. There are two pools and the Caribbean sea of course. As for activities, there is a fantastic game room (but alas no X Boxes or Sesame Place characters) and plenty of organized activities. Again, it is all inclusive so you can leave your credit card in your wallet or purse.
A must see is The Outhouse (yes they have indoor plumbing) but this is a light snack shack/bar up on the hill overlooking the sea. It is run by Miss Mary. She was there when the original resort was built and this “shack” was built to feed the construction workers. If you are looking for a friendly smile and a challenging game of Scrabble while you enjoy some authentic Caribbean BBQ and a cold drink, you need to go to The Outhouse. You can also leave your mark with an original hand painted sign!
Some original signs left by guests at The Outhouse!

Of course we will have some SPT surprises along the way including a private welcoming reception, group activities and more! This trip always runs out of space. A fully refundable deposit of $200 will guarantee your place on this trip with the final balance due July 1, 2009.
Pricing for an adult and a child begins at $2933. Airfare and insurance are additional. And for those in the northeast, an alert reader spotted a fantastic fare from Philadelphia.
